Hello friends,

my name is Hana Kukackova. I come from Czech Republic where the 8th central European Jamboree takes place. Although it is central European jamboree, we want to invite also our scout friends from different parts of Europe. We would be delighted, if you accept the invitation to this camp.

Let me write you few words as an introduction.

Orbis 2006 is already the 8th central European Jamboree. It ties up to the Slavic Jamborees. It takes from Saturday the 29th of July to Sunday the 6th of August. This action is for all scouts at the age between 12 and 17 (includes all 12 and 17 years old) years and service team over 18 years. It takes place in the campsite is near by the town Brno in the Marian Valley, which is connected to the nature reserve Moravian Karst. It is a great possibility to get to know new people, the surrounding culture, to have fun, train foreign languages, listen to great bands, visit international scout museums, learn something new

The price of the whole action for participants is 60 eur if you pay totally by 30.4.2006 (70 eur if paid totally by 31.5.2006, 80 if paid totally by 15.7.2006). The price includes the accommodation (participants will be divided into 7 subcamps, where will be sleeping in own tents), hygiene (wash-rooms - shower, WC will be available of course), meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner, supper; meal will be ensured from 29.7. - Saturday breakfast to 6.8. - Sunday breakfast, drink will be available after your arriving).

The rules for registration
A group means 2 adults (18+ years), 8-18 children (12-17 years). For every next 10 children there must be 1 adult leader. The deadline for registration of groups is 28th of February. Be so kind please and contact scouts in your countries to take part on Orbis 2006.

Group leaders must be aged 18 and more (this age the leader must reach at least one day before arriving to Orbis 2006), member of a scout´s organization and of course has to be able to communicate in English.
